UNM Electron Microscopy

Welcome to the UNM Health Sciences Center Electron Microscopy Facility home page. The EM Facility was founded in 1966 as the first shared research facility in the Health Sciences Center and has been constantly upgraded through Shared Instrumentation Grants from NIH/NCRR. The goal of the Facility is to provide services in both transmission and scanning electron microscopy to the HSC community. Located in the Biomedical Research Facility, it is the only biological EM facility in northern New Mexico, and currently supports users from the HSC, UNM’s main campus and the external community.
